Bankers who work in corporate finance help companies to source and secure funding, to get started, cover operating costs, or expansion. This type of banking involves a large amount of collaboration with clients, determining the best mix of equity, debt and other types of finance for their business strategies and capital requirements.

Capital Markets:

Capital markets are also involved in the acquisition of funding for companies looking to expand or seeking capital funding, but are more focused on the issuing and management of bonds.
